Mining industry is facing an interesting future. It has growing demands as well as severe challenges. Being traditionally a labour intensive industry it now demands the need for automation and extended automation.

• Here are some of the challenges facing the mining industry today. Mining sites are normally located remotely and often would have harsh climatic conditions. It is difficult to recruit and retain competent staff to run mining operations in remote places like deserts and mountains.
• Another challenge is increasing overheads, mines are digging deeper and deeper to find mother load ore. As cost goes up so much, productivity in mining companies are having power profitability. Workforce safety is the most important of all challenges. In spite of efforts being made, accidents still occur, resulting in tough regulations from the authorities. Worker's safety must be improved, especially in underground production area and people working close to heavy machinery and exposed to the rest of the areas in the site. Our mining method would minimize accidents to ensure safe productive environment.
• Another challenge is rising energy cost. Energy efficiency and the tracking of energy consumptions have always been areas of concern for the mining industry. The key for improving energy efficiency is tightened integration between the process and the power areas of the plant. But this is not always the case. The last challenge is typical in many industries so is the mining industry. On the site there is a large number of independent equipment and systems. These independent equipment operators need to be integrated and synchronized.
• The key is to have a full unified view of the production from raw material to processing and delivering the product. An integrated solution helps to close the gap in the value chain. For example with good communication the water base cutting, suction, non-chemical separation and eco-friendly smelting method can be optimized.
